'Hau Flower Lei.' 24 x 36 original blockprint, printed in black on natural banana leaf paper. Will ship un-matted in a tube.
This print was made in celebration of May Day, 2026, depicting a lei made using Hau Flowers (Sea Hibiscus).
Hau flowers evolve from vibrant yellow flowers on the tree, and quickly change to orange and then to a deep pink / burgundy.
Lei giving is used to honor and celebrate loved ones in Hawaiʻi. This print is meant to bring a symbol of hospitality and warmth to adorn your home, while also celebrating the resilience of Hawaiʻi's native forests.
Made with aloha, always.
(Made to order, please allow additional 5-7 business days)
*Please note each blockprint is individually inked, printed, and burnished - creating an original piece of art each time. Due to each print's uniqueness, very slight variations in color and texture do occur.
